Missions is for Everyone!
For the past eleven years, we have been serving with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).
Homes Of Hope builds a home for a family in two days.
This past weekend we got to build a house for a family. The father works nights while the mother has a factory job. Watching them engage over the weekend allowed us to peek into their family dynamics. The oldest son worked hard alongside the team. If he wasn’t working, he was watching his younger brother. The mom smiled as juggled her three children like a rock star (ages 10, 8 and 15 months old.) The father worked his night shift, came home and build then returned to work (2 hour plus bus ride—where I assumed he slept.)
Anyone can do a house build.
Three mothers of little ones juggled a baby while constructing a home. Pretty amazing.
Missions is for everyone! No excuses.
Will those babies remember this build? Probably not. But are their parents engaging in activities that will impact the future? YES!
If these moms can bring a two-month-old and entertain a one year old, then ANYONE can.
Find a way to do missions as a family. Come join us and build a family a home. I promise, this will have a HUGE impact on your children.
Missions is for YOU!
...I tell you the truth: whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40
