I QUIT!
Can’t do it! Who am I –to think– I could create a website?
Those words whirled around in my head, haunted my thoughts, and paralyzed my dreams.
A creative YouTuber empowered me and I was off navigating WordPress like a pro. He made it look super easy, and it was. After a few hours, I created an okay-looking website. Except for one major problem; it didn’t function as a blog. What would be an easy fix for a tech guru stopped me dead in my tracks. Defeated. Head hung low. I was ready to walk away from this whole dream. Of course, I could pay someone, but that is a little unreasonable since it is more like a hobby (at least at this point.)
So now what? QUIT??
Kicked out of the blogging world by a stupid rectangular box filled with unfamiliar coding language only known to some nerdy guy in a cubicle wearing glasses, a button-up shirt and tie. Rant. Rant. Rant. Was I giving up that easily?
NO WAY!
Technology has won this battle, but it hasn’t won the war. I am stronger. Smarter. Braver. I will press on because my desire to help other families is greater. Folding every time the going gets tough can plague those looking from the outside, followed by words, such as, I will never or if only..
NOT this Time..
When faced with a challenge, whether it is a computer program, a strong-willed child, job loss, or medical condition, you must push forward. Believe you can. Creativity is stifled when good people surrender, turn around, and retreat.
Don’t let “IT” beat you.
Take steps toward your dream.
You are stronger, smarter, braver than you think!
