My life looks like a mix of chaos and calm before the storm on any given day. Trying to be productive while homeschooling, cleaning, cooking, while moving could send anyone into a sit spin. Good news is that I have spent years implementing strategic systems. Without that plan of action I would have never survived the past few years.

Crazy, head spinning mom was quite typical in our home. I didn’t want to be THAT mom. Or THAT to be my legacy. I truly desired more. I know I had more to give but I just couldn’t find a way out of the piles of laundry and daily stress of raising six children.

Baby steps lead me down a new path. No real light bulb moment. Just looking at my beautiful family drove my passion to find clarity and purpose in my calling as a mother.

One day at time. Change one area. Address that one space that tips you over. Is it the kitchen? Bathroom? Bedroom? Start with ONE thing. Set the timer and complete one task. Five, ten, twenty minutes, whatever you have before someone demands your attention. If you are bathing your baby, clean the sink. If you are waiting for your picky one to finish lunch, wipe down the microwave.

Small things can have great impact. Don’t under estimate the power of moments.
