Can YOU Relate?

“I can’t figure this out!”

“I have no idea how to get my budget to work!”

“I can’t get to my ideal weight!”

What if you changed those statements just slightly, a simple three degrees? A simple three letter word that could transform your thinking?

What if you added the word YET to the end of the sentence?

I can’t figure this out… YET.

I have no idea how to get my budget to work… YET.

I haven’t reached my goals weight… YET.

…YET

Three little letters that hold huge potential. It allows potential. It keeps goals within reach, obtainable.

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR WORDS!

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death.

Adding “yet” to the end of a sentence, keeps doors open. It enabled you to continue walking forward. It prevents you from retreating and giving up.

When you make bold statements that are damaging, they limit your ability and paralyze momentum. It actually causes you to wither. Words are powerful. They can bring life or death.

What if you started adding YET to a destructive statement? Think of the mindset adjustment that could be achieved. It presses you toward possibilities, options.

The difference between the “haves” and “have nots” is determined by NOT GIVING UP.

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” ―Thomas Edison

My challenge, insert the word YET. Change your mentality from stuck to achievable. Whenever a closed statement is expressed, immediate add the word YET. It will catapult you to a forward-thinking mindset. It opens your imagination to look for ways to solve the issue. Everything is figure-out-able!

God has equipped with every tool you need to accomplish your calling. You many need some training on “how to” use a tool, but trust it is within your skillset. Do not limit yourself. Open your heart and believe in God’s unstoppable power. He has no limits. We put restraints when we face road blocks, which must make him sad because we serve the most powerful, creative, loving God!

What lie are you believing today?

Where do you need to add the word YET?

When a negative statement gets past your lips, follow with the hope-filled three letters Y.E.T.

Press on mom, there is more to come. Different seasons can slow us down but don’t quit. Keep believing, keep dreaming!

Don't give up! You are not done YET!
